A high-ranking official has spoken out against the government in Georgia. Paata Manjgaladze, Secretary General of Strategy Builder, says the current regime is not just corrupt but also violent and anti-Georgian.
He claims that this system relies on four main elements: violence, fear, lies, and poverty. This means that the government uses these tools to maintain control over the people.
Manjgaladze wants those attending a protest rally on March 31 to stand up for their rights and demand truth instead of being silent or fearful. He says that by doing so, they can weaken the regime’s power.
According to him, the current government will not give up its tactics of violence, fear, lies, and poverty without a fight. However, he believes that if people speak out against these practices, it will lead to change.
