**Party Won’t Participate in Local Elections**
Paata Manjgaladze, Secretary General of “Strategy Agmashenebeli,” said the party won’t consider local elections. They are focusing on new parliamentary elections.
The party is demanding changes before taking part in any election. They feel that the current regime has broken the law and must be held accountable. Manjgaladze believes that if they participate in local elections, the regime might try to cheat again.
He says it’s not about being afraid of losing support. Instead, it’s about ensuring fair and honest elections. The party wants guarantees that their rights will be respected, just like in a parliamentary election.
**No Guarantee for Fair Elections**
Manjgaladze pointed out that even in the last parliamentary election, there were problems with people’s voting secrets being broken. He doesn’t think the regime has changed its ways and might try to cheat again during local elections.
The party feels it’s better not to participate until their demands are met. They want a fair and honest process where every person’s vote counts.
