**Commission Accused of Punishing Georgians**
A group in the Georgian Parliament, known as the “Jalatea Commission”, has been criticized for its intentions. The commission is supposed to investigate the activities of a political party called the United National Movement.
Paata Manjgaladze, leader of a group called “Strategy Aghmashenebeli”, said the real purpose of the commission is to help Russia avoid responsibility for its actions in Georgia. He believes this is just a show and not a serious investigation.
**Georgians Not Afraid to Speak Out**
Manjgaladze thinks the commission wants to punish people who support Georgia’s freedom and independence. He said Georgians will not be forced to justify themselves, and that the country has already been vindicated in international courts.
The commission is headed by a woman named Tsulukiani. Manjgaladze believes she is working against the interests of Georgian people. He says this commission is just a way for “Georgian Dream” (a political party) to distract from their own problems and cover up Russia’s actions in Georgia.
