Germany to Keep Working with Georgia
The German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, wrote on social media about his country’s ties with the Georgian people. He said that 50 years ago, a special agreement was made between two cities – Saarbrücken in Germany and Tbilisi in Georgia. This agreement connected people from both countries.
However, things have changed since then. There has been a problem with democracy in Georgia, which is also a concern for the European Union and Germany. The German Ambassador said that despite this issue, his country will still work with the Georgian people.
