Hungary’s Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjártó, recently spoke out against the European Union‘s (EU) actions in Georgia. He said that Brussels’ interference in Georgia’s affairs is not acceptable.
Szijjártó stated that the government of Georgia supports peace and stability. He believes that outside influence can be harmful to a country‘s internal politics.
The Hungarian minister welcomed news that the US Agency for International Development (USAID) had suspended its funding. This, he said, shows that the organization no longer interferes with other countries’ domestic affairs.
