Szijarto noted that since the liberals had fallen behind, they began to attack: the elections were dishonest and there was no democracy in Georgia.
He congratulated the “Georgian Dream”, once again, for “gaining and keeping the trust of the Georgian People” and stated that Hungary was ready to develop a cooperation based on mutual understanding and support Georgia’s European Integration process.
According to Szijarto it is particularly pitiful that the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis is one of the most vocal critics of the Georgian elections. Landsbergis’ party won the 2020 election but lost the yesterday’s elections.
