Organiser said it was “humbling” to see so many people donate presents. Makysm Litvinov, who lives in Plymouth but is originally from Ukraine, said that many children in his are missing out a happy childhood because of the war.

The convoy will take medical supplies, including surgical equipment and machines for dialysis and ultrasound tests. The group uses caravans to transport the , which is then left at homes or shelters for people who have become homeless or soldiers.

The convoy plans to leave three caravans in Ukraine on this trip. It will take around four to five days to drive there.
