Today, October 27th, Irakli Garibashvili spoke at Freedom Square. He thanked the crowd for their support.
Garibashvili said that the people gathered today are fighting for freedom. In 2012, Georgians showed how strong they can be when united. They wanted a peaceful and democratic country where human rights matter most.
He praised the leader of Georgian Dream, Bidzina, who led the peaceful revolution in 2012. Garibashvili said that their party ended the rule of a dictatorial regime that was hurting people.
The Georgian Dream government has kept peace for a long time. They’ve started important reforms in education, roads, farming, and economy. Progress is clear at home and abroad, according to Garibashvili.
