The economy is growing. We have a 14.4% increase in the first quarter. – Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated at the government session.
As the Prime Minister explains both local exports, as well as tourism and money remittances, are growing.
“The economy is growing. We have had a 14.4% growth in first quarter. I’d like to tell you more specifically that we saw an 18% growth in January. In February, our economy grew by 14,6%. In March, the real growth was 10.6%. I want to tell the public very briefly that local exports, tourism and remittances all are on the rise. “Overall, we have a very positive dynamic in this direction,” said he.
