**Polish PM Warns of Global Conflict**
The war in Ukraine has reached a critical point, says Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. In a speech on November 22, he warned that the situation is becoming increasingly dramatic and there’s a serious threat of global conflict.
Tusk was speaking at the Congress of the Polish Teachers’ Union when he made his comments. He said that the war in Ukraine is entering its decisive phase, and none of us knows how it will end. The situation is so serious that Tusk felt compelled to speak out about it.
**Russia Tests New Missile**
The escalation in Ukraine comes as Russia has tested a new missile called Oreshnik. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the missile was tested on November 21 after Ukraine targeted facilities in Russia with Western-supplied missiles.
Putin said the test of the Oreshnik missile was not armed with a nuclear warhead. However, the fact that it is designed to carry nuclear weapons has raised concerns about its potential use in the conflict.
**Poland Under Pressure**
The situation in Ukraine has put Poland under pressure from Russia. The opening of a new U.S. missile defense base in northern Poland on November 13 has been met with criticism from Moscow.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski announced that key EU countries are ready to increase military and financial aid to Ukraine if the U.S. reduces its support. This development has further complicated the situation in Europe.
