**Students Plan Protest at RTV Building**
On Friday, students from Novi Sad will hold a protest in front of the Radio-Television of Vojvodina (RTV) building. The protest comes after a recent tragedy at the Novi Sad train station.
**15 People Died in Train Station Tragedy**
On November 1, a concrete canopy collapsed at the recently renovated Novi Sad train station. This led to the deaths of 15 people and severe injuries to two others. Students are now calling for a protest rally and march to the RTV building.
**Supporting RTV Employees**
The students want to show their support for RTV employees who have been staging weekly protests demanding the dismissal of the First Channel’s editor-in-chief, Nenad Cacic. The staff have been protesting every Friday with 15-minute demonstrations.
**Editor-in-Chief Under Fire**
Three unions at RTV have launched a petition calling for the removal of Cacic as editor-in-chief. They claim that he has an “editorial policy” that is biased and favors the government. The petition will be handed over to the RTV Managing Board, citing the suppression of facts about the train station tragedy.
**Protest Details**
The protest will start at 11:52 am with a minute’s silence for the victims. This will be followed by a rally in support of RTV employees and their demands for Cacic’s dismissal.
