Poland’s Chief , General Wieslaw Kukula, made it clear that his country will not shoot down Russian or over . This is in line with Poland’s previous stance.

Russia launches many every night against Ukraine, also targeting civilian areas and infrastructure. Occasionally, explosive drones are launched into NATO countries like , Poland, and Lithuania.

When asked if Poland could intercept missiles approaching from Ukrainian , General Kukula said no. “Our responsibility for allied aerial is defined by the borders of our country,” he stated. This means that Poland will not take on this duty unless a threat directly reaches its own border.
