The Times reported on November 11 that Poland wants to form an alliance with the U.K. in order to continue to help Ukraine after Donald Trump assumes office in 2025.
Donald Tusk, the Polish prime minister, said he plans to meet with his British counterpart Sir Keir starmer in the next few days. The Times reported that he will also meet with President Macron of France, and Mark Rutte the secretary-general of NATO.
Tusk said, “This new political terrain is a serious challenge to everyone — especially when you consider the possibility of an end to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict as a result a deal between the presidents of Russia and the United States.”
Trump’s comments about Ukraine have focused on speedy results rather than long-term support. He has also refrained from saying that he wants Ukraine triumph over Russia.
He has repeatedly said that he will end the war in “24 hours.” Though he hasn’t outlined a plan yet, it is expected to include Ukraine ceding territory to Russia.
Donald Trump Jr., his son, mocked Zelensky, and Ukraine, by posting a picture with the caption “POV (point-of-view): You are 38 days away from losing your allowance.” on Instagram.
The “38 days”, may refer to the date of December 17, when U.S. Electors will meet and cast their votes based on the results from the November 5 vote.
Tusk has been fighting back against Trump’s plans ever since his re-election, saying that decisions regarding Ukraine’s future can’t be made without Ukrainians. This was reported earlier on November 9.
The Telegraph, citing UK Government officials, reported that the leaders of France, the U.K. and Ukraine are expected to meet on November 11 in Paris to discuss a final-ditch effort to convince the U.S. not to prevent Ukraine from striking deep inside Russia using Western weapons before Trump takes over the White House in early January.
According to the newspaper article, British Prime Minister Sir KeirStarmer and French President Emmanuel Macron are hoping that President Joe Biden will grant the approval sought by Kyiv in the past months as a way of cementing his legacy.
One source was quoted saying, “We want to make the most out of the time we have between now and January 20 (when Trump becomes president) and not put everything on hold for the next administration.”
Among the injured are a 10-year-old girl and an 11-year old boy.
According to a report, Trump had advised Putin not escalate the war in Ukraine.
HUR posted a message on Telegram saying that the aircraft had been attacked at the Klin-5 base overnight on November 9-10. It also attached a video showing the aircraft on fire.

Jake Sullivan, U.S. National security adviser, said that President Biden would have the chance to convince Congress and the incoming administration of the United States not to walk away from Ukraine.
“Reports claiming that the Ukrainian side had been informed of the alleged phone call in advance are false. Accordingly, Ukraine couldn’t have endorsed or objected to the call,” said Heorhii Tykhyi, spokesperson for the foreign ministry.
One source familiar with the conversation said that during the call from Trump’s Florida resort, the President-elect told Putin not to escalate tensions in Ukraine, and emphasized Washington’s significant military presence throughout Europe.
On Nov. 10, authorities in Moldova found two Russian drones near the districts of Kaushan and Rishkan.
According to a recent U.S. assessment, Russia has amassed 50,000 troops while not pulling its soldiers from the eastern front.
Donald Tusk, the Polish Prime Minister, said that “decisions about the war in Ukraine cannot be made without the consent of Ukrainians or us.” He added that Europe would have to take more responsibility for its own security.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that on November 10, Russian air defense destroyed 70 Ukrainian drones including 34 in Moscow Oblast in the largest drone attack against the Russian capital.
While the Kremlin doesn’t announce the number killed and injured, Western officials claim that October was the most difficult month for Russian forces.
