Russian President Vladimir Putin sent New Year’s greetings to several world leaders.
On December 30, the Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin had sent telegrams congratulating three European leaders and Pope Francis on Christmas and the upcoming year.
The leaders who received the telegrams were:
* Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic
* Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban
* Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
These leaders have all maintained good relations with Russia despite its invasion of Ukraine.
