Trump’s Pick for Defense Secretary Faces New Allegations
President-elect Trump has chosen Pete Hegseth as his new Secretary of Defense. However, Hegseth is facing more trouble.
Hegseth used to run two groups that helped veterans. But he was forced to leave both organizations because of how he managed their money and his behavior. This happened before he started working at Fox News in 2017.
People who worked with Hegseth claim that he often came to work drunk. They also say he got into public places while intoxicated, and made unwanted advances on female staff members. He’s accused of trying to assault them.
Hegseth’s team denies these claims, saying they’re just revenge.
This isn’t the first time Hegseth has been accused of wrongdoing. He was previously accused of sexual assault.
