European Georgia wins 52% despite attempts to falsify and diaspora voting – Georgian president Salome Zurabishvili claimed on X that Georgia has demonstrated true democracy.
“European Georgia won by 52% even without the attempts of falsifying the elections and the votes from the diaspora. Georgia has shown maturity, democracy and Europeanness… I am confident and proud of our European future!” wrote she.
The voting process for the Georgian parliamentary elections has ended. Georgia’s voting stations closed at 20:00. Now, the results of the elections are being counted.
