Salome Zurabishvili said in an interview to Deutsche Welle that the information she received about the many forms of fraud led her to reiterate what she had said yesterday: These elections were stolen.
When asked why international observers did not consider the Georgian elections fraudulent, the president replied that they do not make statements about the illegal conduct of elections so soon after elections because they still have lots of information to go through.
“The observers reported incidents very clearly.” I repeat my statement from yesterday, based on the information I received about counterfeiting. The results are contrary to the trend of the polls conducted in this country. Especially since the ‘Russian Law‘ and the protests on the streets which show that the people want to maintain their European ways. This election was stolen, and I believe that the Georgians will confirm this assessment in the streets,” Zurabishvili stated.
