According to Salome Zurabishvili the President of Georgia today met with the Ambassador of the European Union of Georgia, Pawel Hischinski.
Salome Zurabishvili noted that the ambassador had once again expressed his support for both the Charter and action plan. He also noted that, “as soon they see the people of Georgia express their calm, but unwavering, desire to return to Europe during the elections, all that is required will be implemented immediately.”
“I want to tell that this is the second thing that makes me confident that our partners will stand by us. The recent statements from Brussels, the Council of the European Union and today’s meeting with the ambassador of the European Union confirm this. He reiterated his support for the road, the charter and the plan and that once he sees that the people of Georgia expressed themselves through the elections, he will immediately put in action everything needed to get back on track, restore very quickly the aid that has been frozen today.
