Salome Zurabishvili, President of Georgia, stressed the importance mobilization in combating election fraud. She claims that various parties are preparing for this.
Zurabishvili, speaking at a press conference, urged all citizens in Georgia to take part in the upcoming elections for parliament on October 26.
She urged each individual to be responsible for ensuring that their vote is counted. She encouraged people to help their family members abroad register and protect ballots. She noted that observers will play a vital role and encouraged citizens to sign up through organizations such as My Voice, who coordinate with NGOs to provide training for election observers.
Zurabishvili, in a message for young people, said: “Your future will be decided on October 26.” He emphasized their role in safeguarding election process.
“The defeat of the fraud, which is being prepared from all sides and we see very well, is mobilization–everyone coming to the elections. She said that it was our duty to make sure that no vote is left unused to protect this nation, its independence and its European future.
