**President Urges Constitutional Court to Take Action**
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, called for the Constitutional Court to take action in a briefing. The court has not held any sessions and failed to address the current crisis in the country.
The President believes that the Constitutional Court has the power to resolve the crisis. She said that the court’s judges have a unique tool at their disposal to solve the problems facing the country. However, instead of taking action, the court is doing nothing, not even calling for a session.
**Efforts Should Be Focused on Scheduling a Session**
The President urged all parties involved, including political groups, society, activists, and lawyers, to focus their efforts on scheduling a Constitutional Court hearing. She believes that a positive decision from the court will bring the country back within the framework of the Constitution.
**Constitutional Crisis Unresolved**
Georgia is currently facing a constitutional crisis. The President has appealed to the Constitutional Court to annul the results of the October 26 elections, citing their illegitimacy. The court has 30 days to consider her claim.
The President warned that if no action is taken, the country will remain in a state of limbo. She said that without a legitimate parliament and new elections, Georgia will face a transitional period with no end in sight.
