**President of Georgia Creates Fund for Protestors’ Fines**
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has announced plans to create a fund to help cover the fines of those arrested during protests. The announcement was made at a briefing in the Orbeliani palace.
Zurabishvili stressed that representatives of the State Security Service are present at the rallies and it’s necessary to be cautious of potential provocations. She warned protestors to be careful of people who might try to cause trouble, saying “among you who are out on the streets, there may be representatives of the State Security Service who engage in provocations”.
**Concerns about Provocations**
The President also expressed concerns that some people were trying to provoke violence during the protests. She said she had received reports that Georgian military personnel from Ukraine were allegedly preparing to participate in the protest as military personnel, but warned that this was likely a provocation.
“This is a direct provocation, such a thing does not happen,” Zurabishvili said. “No one should believe it, because it is directly directed against the protest.”
