Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, told Georgian Journalists in Hungary that he had a friendly and constructive conversation with Charles Michel. He was interested in the development in Georgia.
As the Prime Minister noted he provided Charles Michel information on current events occurring in Georgia.
“I told Charles Michel about the current situation in Georgia. I told him, among other things, that it was very difficult for the Opposition to mobilize the people. The opposition does not enjoy public support. In such conditions, I believe that things will be much easier than 4 years ago. The opposition lacks resources. In this case, his resources are much lower than they were 4 years ago.
I have reiterated to Charles Michel our willingness to engage in any discussion and flexibility. Charles Michel has been informed of our willingness to engage in discussions and this is the position we are taking,” said Irakli Kobakhidze.
