**Investigation into Violence Against Police Officers is Crucial**
The investigation into the violence against police officers by protesters is important for prevention. Unfortunately, some people in the country focus only on the excessive acts of violence committed by one side, but ignore how violently the protesters were against the police.
According to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, the protesters used Molotov cocktails, pyrotechnics, and heavy objects against the police. This led to injuries to up to 50 police officers, with 20 requiring surgery. The prime minister described this as systematic brutal violence by the protesters.
**Systematic Brutal Violence on One Side**
The prime minister pointed out that there were also worrying incidents by the police officers, but these were isolated and not comparable to the systematic violence by the protesters. He showed photos of the burns suffered by the police officers and emphasized that such facts incite violence.
The prime minister stressed that an investigation must be conducted on both sides, as violence begets violence. When people who commit brutal violence are pardoned, it sends a wrong message and encourages more violence. Everyone has a responsibility to condemn violence in all directions and ensure that such incidents do not happen again.
