**ProGlas Meeting Cancelled in Pirot**
A meeting of the ProGlas civic initiative was cancelled in the town of Pirot, southern Serbia. The venue was closed for a day of mourning.
On Wednesday, hundreds of people gathered in front of the local culture center to attend the meeting. However, they found out that it had been cancelled. The ProGlas initiative had called the meeting under the slogan “The Future Can’t be Built with Bloody Hands”.
This slogan is related to protesters who are demanding accountability for the deaths of 15 people at a train station in November.
ProGlas was formed by well-known public figures before the December elections. It’s a non-partisan organization that wants people to vote and change the country.
The meeting had been called, but it was cancelled on short notice. Several ProGlas members were expected to speak.
