**Russian Soldiers Kill Unarmed Woman in Ukraine**
A woman was shot dead by Russian soldiers while walking on the street of a village in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. The incident happened on November 10.
According to prosecutors, the woman was walking near destroyed houses when Russian soldiers fired at her. She was killed instantly.
The incident is just one of many cases of Russian troops killing or abusing civilians since Russia‘s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022.
**War Crime Investigation Launched**
Ukrainian authorities have launched an investigation into the war crime. Pictures of the woman’s body were shared on the prosecutor’s office‘s Telegram channel, showing her lying on the ground with her face in the mud.
Terny is a front-line village in northern Donetsk Oblast, about 35 kilometers from the city of Sloviansk.
**Russia Accused of War Crimes**
Ukraine has accused Russia of committing war crimes since the start of the invasion. President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia had committed 137,000 war crimes in Ukraine.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has also issued arrest warrants for several Russian officials, including former defense minister Sergei Shoigu and President Vladimir Putin, over charges related to the forced deportation of Ukrainian children and attacks on energy infrastructure.
