**Protest in Belgrade Against Pro-Regime Media**
A public protest was held in front of three pro-regime media outlets in central Belgrade on Monday. The protesters walked from the offices of Vecernje Novosti, to Kurir and Politika daily.
The crowd put up stickers on Vecernje Novosti windows with a message saying “Rats”. They then went to Kurir tabloid daily where they left cutouts of red hands on the fence. This was in reference to one of the slogans chanted by protesters since the Novi Sad Railway Station disaster, which reads “You Have Bloody Hands”.
The crowd also carried a large banner that said “Shame on You”. At Politika building, the protesters shouted “You Are Lousy” in response to an article that claimed lice had infested Belgrade University schools.
One of the protesters told N1 reporter that Monday’s protest was a continuation of last Saturday’s protest in front of pro-regime tabloid and TV Informer. He said the idea is to remind those media that private editorial policy does not mean a lack of responsibility.
