**Students Protest in Belgrade and Nis**
University students in two Serbian cities, Belgrade and Nis, held protests on Sunday. This was the latest event in a series of demonstrations started after 15 people died in a building collapse at Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1.
**Belgrade Protests**
In Belgrade, students gathered in front of the Serbian Constitutional Court. They observed 15 minutes of silence for the victims of the tragedy. Then, they read out cases where the government was accused of violating the constitution. After that, they made noise and showed their anger by wearing white blindfolds.
**Nis Protests**
In Nis, students blocked two main intersections and stood in silence. They then marched to the university headquarters and hung a banner with a message saying “Protest work stop” (in Serbian). This included a word that meant “constitution”.
**Different Estimates of Protest Size**
There were different estimates of how many people took part in the protests. The Archive of Public Gatherings said 28,000 people attended. President Aleksandar Vucic estimated there were around 13,000 people at the protest in Belgrade.
