Protesters blocked Gorgasli Street, near the office of the “Georgian Dream”, and shouts were heard: “slaves”, Russians”, “go”. Law enforcement officers mobilized on the scene.  

**Protest Near Georgian Government Office**

A group of people have gathered near the central office of “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia“. They blocked Gorgasli Street as a way to show their disagreement.

The protesters claim that they will not let “Georgian Dream” give up on Georgia’s chance to join Europe. Some protesters are shouting slogans like “Slaves”, “Russians”, and “Go”.

Police officers have been called to the area to stop the protesters from getting close to the office building.

This protest was organized after the Prime Minister of Georgia said that the country will not ask to start talks with the European Union until 2028. He also said that Georgia does not want any money from the EU for this period.
