**Students Across Serbia Protest in Honor of Tragedy Victims**
On Friday, students from several universities, along with citizens and high school students, held a protest in various cities across Serbia. The event was titled “15 Minutes of Silence” to honor the 15 victims who died in the Novi Sad train station tragedy on November 1.
**Peaceful Protests in Belgrade**
In Belgrade, the protest ended peacefully outside the Serbian state TV (RTS) building. Students from the Bridge Stays initiative were joined by RTS employees. A vigil outside the Belgrade University Faculty of Law also passed without incidents and was attended by students from three grammar schools.
**University Students March in Novi Sad**
In Novi Sad, students paid their respects to the victims with a silent vigil outside the Radio-Television of Vojvodina (RTV) building. Earlier, they marched five kilometers from the university campus, using whistles and vuvuzelas during the march. As they passed by the offices of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), they shouted “Murderers, murderers” at those gathered outside.
**Doctors in Loznica Show Support**
In the city of Loznica, doctors honored the victims and supported students’ demands. Dr. Vladimir Dugalic, a leading surgeon who was removed from his position for criticizing the health minister and supporting student protests, received support from the medical community.
**Protests in Other Cities**
University students in Nis staged a performance on the Bridge of Youth after observing 15 minutes of silence. Students also held protests in Sarajevo and Banja Luka to show solidarity with their colleagues in Serbia and highlight issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including corruption and government neglect.
