**Public Sector Employees Have Right to Free Speech**
The Public Defender says it’s not okay for the government to fire people who share their opinions. Some of those fired are planning to go to court to protect their rights.
According to the Public Defender, eight cases of unfair treatment in the workplace are being investigated. These cases affect 15 people. The Public Defender is working with the affected individuals and helping them understand their legal options.
**Freedom of Expression Matters**
The Public Defender wants everyone to know that freedom of expression is important. People who share their opinions should not be punished for it. If you think you’ve been treated unfairly because of your opinions, contact the Public Defender’s Office.
You can reach out to the Public Defender’s Office by phone at 1481 or send an email to info@pdo.ge. They will help guide you through the process and figure out what to do next.
