**Russia Targets with New Missile**

President Putin said on November 21 that Russia tested its new intermediate-range ballistic missile, the Oreshnik. The test was against the city of Dnipro in Ukraine.

According to Putin, Russian forces launched conventional intercontinental ballistic missile at Dnipro earlier that day. Ukrainian have not confirmed the type of missile used.

**Putin’s Claim**

Putin said Ukraine targeted facilities in Russia’s Kursk and Bryansk regions with long-range missiles on November and 20. In response, Russian forces launched attack on a facility in Dnipro, Putin claimed.

The Oreshnik missile is designed to carry nuclear weapons, but it was not armed with one during this test, said Putin.

**Warning from Putin**

Putin warned that Russia would use its weapons against any country whose arms are used to strike Russian targets. He also claimed the plans to produce and deploy medium- and shorter-range missiles in Ukraine.

Additionally, Putin promised to warn Ukrainian civilians and citizens of other countries before using its weapons.

**Damage and Injuries**

The attack on Dnipro caused significant damage, including an industrial enterprise, two houses, nine garages, and a rehabilitation center for people with disabilities. Two people were injured in the strike.
