“Georgia did not support sanctions against Russia.” Alexei Goncharenko, a Ukrainian member, responded to the statement by the Prime Minister of Georgia stating that sanctions would harm Georgia more.
The Rada MP stated that the statement by the Georgian Premier that he couldn’t visit Ukraine as a show of solidarity “because the skies over Ukraine are closed” was the most surprising.
He asked the Georgian people how much they liked these statements by the head of the .

“Prime Minister Irakli claims that imposing sanctions would do more harm to his nation. He will not even hold an extraordinary session of the parliament. The answer to the simple question of whether Garibashvili will visit to show solidarity is most surprising. The Prime Minister has said that the skies over Ukraine are now closed.
