**Georgian Government Criticized by MEP**
A politician from the European Union has spoken out against the government of Georgia. Rasa Juknevičienė, a member of the EU parliament, says democratic countries should not deal with the Georgian government until free elections are held.
Juknevičienė is unhappy about how the country is being run by Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and his team. She believes they do not have the right to make decisions for Georgia because they came to power unfairly.
In a tweet, Juknevičienė said that Ivanishvili’s government is “a disgrace to democracy”. Many EU politicians agree with her. They signed a statement called “International Friends of Georgia” which says that elections in Georgia should be free and fair.
