Georgia has no opposition today – instead, it has a political party registered as an opposing agency! The agency’s role is not in politics but in the judiciary. Rati Ionatamishvili, MP of “Georgian Dream”, responds to a part of an interview with Bidzina ivanishvili (Honorary Chairman of “Georgian Dream”) in which he spoke about the prosecutions of the opposition.
Ionatamishvili stated that “the radical opposition doesn’t protect the interests its voters but those of the powers who gave them the task, foreign powers”.
Ionatamishvili said that Giorgi Gakharia also resigned from his post as Prime Minister because of an assignment received from the outside.
