Hiker Nika Gugeshashvili discovered a dead Caucasian Brown Bear in the forest of Upisiri Village in Racha.
The bear’s paws were cut off after it was killed by a trap.
The brown bear is listed on the Red List of Georgia. The killing of a species on the Red List is a criminal offence.
