Russia and North Korea have a deal. Russia gave oil and -aircraft missiles to North Korea, in return for military help in Ukraine.

North Korea sent 10,000 soldiers to fight with Russia. Most of them are in the part of Russia called Kursk Oblast. The Pentagon said this happened on November 12th.

A official said that Russia gave North Korea equipment and missiles to help their air defense system. This system is weak.

Russia also gave North Korea over a million barrels of oil since March this year. This was found out by analyzing from the UK.

The UK Secretary said this oil is payment for the soldiers and weapons that North Korea sent to Russia. Russia and North Korea signed agreement in June to help each other if one of them gets attacked.

North Korea’s leader met with Russia’s leader and they promised to each other. A North Korean official visited and met with Russia’s Foreign Minister. He said that North Korea will stand by Russia until they win the against Ukraine.

A former commander-in-chief of Ukraine said that this deal shows that there is a global conflict going on.
