The Prosecutor’s General’s Office announced on October 24 that Russian soldiers had killed four captured Ukrainian servicemen in the Oblast near the town Selydove.
In a Telegram post, it was stated that the four members of the Ukrainian National Guard were fighting in the area when they were taken hostage during a Russian assault on Oct. 6.
When Ukrainian forces recaptured the positions on October 7, they discovered their bodies.
The Prosecutor General’s Office opened a preliminary investigation into the incident.
