The press service of Ukrainian (Ukroboronprom), a state-owned conglomerate the defense industry, announced on 21 Oct that retired General Oleh Hulik has been appointed as its new CEO.
Ukroboronprom, a joint stock company, unites 130+ state owned -profile enterprises in various sectors of Ukraine’s defense industry. After Russia’s full-scale invasion in Ukraine in 2022, the company had to relocate its production overseas and has partnered with several Western firms, such as Rheinmetall, to increase domestic military production and meet battlefield demand during the ongoing .
Odgers Berndtson is international executive search firm. Three finalists were selected from a list of more than 20 candidates. The supervisory board interviewed these candidates and selected Huliak to fill the role.
