**Russia Pushes Back Ukrainian Forces**
Moscow has sent 59,000 troops to fight against Ukrainian forces. This includes 11,000 soldiers from North Korea.
**Ukraine Loses Territory**
Ukrainian forces have lost control of a big part of the Kursk region in Russia. According to a Ukrainian General Staff source, they have lost more than 40% of their previously held territory there.
**Key Front in Conflict**
The Kursk oblast is an important area in this conflict. Ukraine has used Western-supplied weapons on Russian soil for the first time here. North Korean troops are also fighting alongside Russian forces. Moscow is pushing hard to take back control over its territory.
