Georgia Protests Continue for 32nd Day
Mass protests in Georgia continue, despite violent crackdowns by authorities. The demonstrations have been going on for a month now.
A European politician, Rihards Kols, has spoken out against the government’s actions. He said that the current regime is undemocratic and that Salome Zurabishvili remains the only legitimate president of Georgia.
Kols called on the European Union to recognize Zurabishvili as the rightful leader. He believes that the EU should not support or legitimize the current government, but rather impose sanctions on them instead.
The protests in Georgia have been marked by courage and resilience from the people, according to Kols. He urged Europe to stand with the Georgian people and support their demands for democracy.
