**Georgian Government Isolated from European Community**
The Georgian government is not accepted by many European countries. This was stated by opposition politician Roman Gotsiridze on Palitranews TV.
Gotsiridze said that the visit of the Georgian Dream delegation to Romania was not special because there are different factions in the Romanian parliament. He also mentioned that the Georgian government is isolated from the international community.
**Romania and Other European Countries**
Romania, where the Georgian Dream delegation visited, has many different factions in its parliament. However, this does not change the fact that the Georgian government is not accepted by many European countries.
Gotsiridze compared Romania to Hungary, which recently blocked an EU statement. He also mentioned that there are pro-Putin groups in some German and other European parliaments.
**Opposition’s Role**
The opposition’s task should be to deepen international isolation of the Georgian government. This can be done by imposing sanctions on Bidzina Ivanishvili, who is accused of strengthening Russian power in Georgia.
Gotsiridze mentioned that similar sanctions were imposed on Russia under the Magnitsky Act. He believes that such sanctions would be effective and would not allow Ivanishvili to recover from them.
**Other Issues**
Roman Gotsiridze also spoke about the Anaklia port project, which he called “geopolitical” in nature. He disagreed with Maka Botchorishvili‘s statement on the economic importance of the port, calling it “stupid”.
Gotsiridze also responded to the appointment of Luka Ekhvaia as Mikheil Kavelashvili‘s advisor on foreign affairs. He called this appointment a “statement of a traitor” and said that participating in a format with an occupying country is treason.
