**Romania Foils Russian-Coordinated Sabotage Attempt**
Romanian authorities have arrested a 34-year-old Colombian man for trying to carry out acts of sabotage on critical infrastructure. The suspect was working with someone in Russia, according to the Romanian police.
The suspect conducted surveillance activities in July and took pictures and videos of important targets. He planned to destroy them using explosions or fires, which would be bad for national security. But before he could do it, the police stepped in and stopped him.
**Suspect Had Military Training**
The suspect had training in his home country and knew how to gather intelligence. He was arrested on November 13th and is now being tried at a court in Bucharest.
Prosecutors have charged the suspect with terrorism and preparing terrorist acts. If he’s found guilty, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
