**US to Reconsider Military Aid to Ukraine**
The US may restart military aid to Ukraine if there is progress in talks with Kyiv this week. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the decision depends on what happens during discussions in Saudi Arabia.
**Talks Scheduled for March 11**
Ukrainian and US delegations will meet in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on March 11 to discuss a potential ceasefire or peace agreement with Russia. They will also talk about a mineral resource deal between Kyiv and Washington.
**Rubio Hopes for Resolution**
Rubio said that the decision to pause military aid was made earlier this year after President Volodymyr Zelensky clashed with US President Donald Trump in February. He hopes that the talks will lead to a resolution on this issue.
**Ukraine’s Proposal Praised**
The US Secretary of State praised Ukraine’s proposal for a ceasefire in the sky and at sea. However, he said that more details need to be worked out on the mineral resource deal.
**Leaders Heading Delegations**
Rubio will lead the US delegation along with National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff. The Ukrainian delegation will include President Zelensky’s Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Chief of Staff Pavlo Palisa.
**Russia’s Breakthrough**
Russian forces have made a breakthrough south of the Ukrainian-held town of Sudzha in Kursk Oblast. This could threaten to cut off some Ukrainian positions in the region.
