**Russia Attacks Kyiv with Missiles**
Russian forces attacked Ukraine‘s capital, Kyiv, on December 20. They used special missiles called Kinzhal and Iskander-M.
**Multiple Explosions Reported**
The attack happened around 7 am local time. Many explosions were reported across four districts of Kyiv: Holosiivskyi, Solomyanskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Dniprovskyi.
**Casualties and Damage**
One person died in the Holosiivskyi district. Nine people were hurt, with four taken to hospital. Missile debris caused fires and damaged infrastructure across all four districts.
**Specific Damage**
In Holosiivskyi, five cars caught fire and a gas pipe was damaged. A building fire on the 13th floor collapsed the wall blocking access to the 15th floor.
In Solomyanskyi, debris sparked a small fire in a three-story building. It was put out after burning for about 15 square meters.
In Shevchenkivskyi, fires broke out across 100 square meters of an administrative building. Rescue operations are ongoing for victims.
