**Drone Attack on Russia’s Rostov-on-Don**
A drone attack hit the city of Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia. The attack caused damage to at least 76 apartments and shattered 215 windows.
The mayor of Rostov-on-Don, Alexander Scriabin, said that a state of emergency was declared in the affected area. He also claimed that Russian defense forces shot down 18 drones over the region.
**No Casualties Reported**
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the attack. However, natural gas service was disrupted for some time before it was resumed. Work to replace damaged windows will start tomorrow.
**Ukraine Targets Russian Infrastructure**
This drone attack is not an isolated incident. Ukraine has been targeting Russian infrastructure as part of its efforts to weaken Russia’s ability to wage war against Ukraine. Just yesterday, an oil refinery in the Volgograd Oblast was targeted by Ukrainian forces.
