Officials in Russia said that a drone attack by Ukraine caused an explosion and fire to occur at a biochemical facility in the Tambov Region.
Tambov Governor Maxim Yegorov announced on Telegram that the fire had been extinguished by early Tuesday morning and that preliminary reports indicated no injuries.
Officials said Tuesday that drones from Ukraine also damaged two distilleries located in the Tula Region.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced Tuesday that it had shot down 11 Ukrainian drones in the Bryansk area, three drones in Belgorod, and two each over Kursk, Tula, and Oryol.
The governors of Belgorod and Bryansk reported that two homes had been damaged by falling debris, while the governors of Belgorod said the attack had damaged one building.
Ihor Kalchenko, Sumy governor in Ukraine, said that a Russian drone strike killed three people.
Kalchenko said that Ukrainian air defenses destroyed 25 Russian drones within the region.
The governor stated that the strike on Sumy was aimed at a residential area and critical infrastructure.
