** Attacks Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure**

Russia launched a large attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure early on December 13. They fired around 290 missiles and drones across multiple regions.

The Ukrainian Energy Minister, Herman Halushchenko, said: “The enemy continues its terror. Once again, the energy sector across Ukraine is under massive attack.”

Explosions were reported in several regions, including Kyiv Oblast, where air was active. Other regions affected include Odesa, Vinnytsia, , Ivano-Frankivsk, and Cherkasy.

**International Reaction**

The Polish scrambled its fighter jets as Russian drones and missiles entered western Ukraine. President Zelensky said that Russia’s actions are a “terrorizing” tactic and called for a strong reaction from the world.
