Odesa was hit hard by the air raids that lasted five hours in Kyiv.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched 145 drones in a record-breaking attack on Ukraine overnight Sunday. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 62 drones from the enemy, but 67 were lost due to tracking systems. Ten drones strayed in neighboring Moldova, Belarus and Russia.
Russia has intensified its nightly drone, bomb, and missile attacks on Ukraine in recent months. Allies are hesitant to use Western-supplied weapons on Russian territory despite Ukraine’s repeated requests for stronger air defenses.
