The State Emergency Service reported that a second attack was made while emergency responders were dealing with the first one, injuring an aid worker.
Overnight, Russian forces launched a dual ballistic missile strike on Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. According to Serhiylysak, the regional governor, 17 people were injured in the attack.
Russia continues to launch daily air attacks against Ukrainian residential areas in order to terrorize civilians, and destroy infrastructure. Each night, dozens or even hundreds of Shahed drones, and sometimes missiles, are launched. While Ukraine uses drones made in the country to attack Russia, it does not have permission to use long-range missiles from the West.
“Eight injured have been hospitalized and are in stable condition,” wrote he on Telegram.
State Emergency Service reported a second attack as responders dealt with the aftermath of the first attack, injuring a rescue worker. The missiles caused damage to a variety of structures, including a school, a store, and ten residential high-rises. Up to 15 vehicles, including emergency service vehicles, were also damaged.
Officials have not revealed the exact targets of the Kryvyi Rh strikes.
Local authorities have established centers for damage claims, and are distributing food, construction materials, and hot teas to those affected.
In a separate incident the Russian artillery attacked the Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk oblast, damaging homes, infrastructure and power lines in Marhanets, and Nikopol. These attacks were not reported to have caused any casualties.
After the Russian missile attack on the hometown of Ukraine President Zelenskyy at 9 AM, one policeman was killed and 19 people were hospitalized. Three of them are in a serious condition.
