Editor’s Note: The story is currently being updated.Russian forces launched an attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, injuring five hospital staff members. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty confirmed this.Russia used guided aerial bombs to strike Zaporizhzhia 5 times. The attack targeted several residential buildings as well as a hospital. Governor Ivan Fedorov stated that the full impact of the attack is still being determined. Zaporizhzhia is the regional center of partially occupied Zaporizhzhia oblast and is often the target of Russian attacks. About 710,000 people lived in the city prior to the full-scale invasion of 2022. A Russian strike against Zaporizhzhia in November 2005 killed six and injured another 23.
